DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to the Hilton Garden Inn or another Hotel of similar standard in Nairobi for check-in and relaxation. In the evening, savor a unique dining experience at The Carnivore Restaurant, renowned for its "all-you-can-eat" meat buffet featuring a variety of meats roasted over charcoal, offering a rustic atmosphere.

DAY 2: GIRAFFE CENTRE VISIT

After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, you'll embark on an exciting visit to Nairobi's renowned Giraffe Centre. This sanctuary is dedicated to the conservation of the endangered Rothschild's giraffe, offering visitors a unique opportunity to interact closely with these majestic creatures. Upon arrival, you'll ascend a specially designed observation platform, bringing you to eye level with the giraffes. Here, you'll have the chance to hand-feed them using specially formulated food pellets provided by the center. As you extend a pellet, watch in awe as their long, prehensile tongues reach out to gently take the treat from your hand, a truly unforgettable experience. Beyond these close encounters, the center offers guided tours where knowledgeable staff share fascinating insights into giraffe behavior, their role in the ecosystem, and ongoing conservation efforts. Additionally, you can explore the on-site nature trail, which meanders through a serene forest teeming with over 100 species of birds and other wildlife, providing a tranquil complement to your giraffe interactions. After this heartwarming and educational experience, head to one of Nairobi's esteemed restaurants for lunch before returning to the hotel for a leisurely afternoon. Dinner is at your discretion, and you'll spend the night at the Hilton Garden Inn.

DAY 3: JOURNEY TO DIANI BEACH VIA MOMBASA AND LIKONI FERRY

Begin your day with an early breakfast before departing for the Nairobi Terminus of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), located just a few kilometers from Hilton Garden Inn. The morning Inter-County train departs at 8:00 AM, arriving in Mombasa around 2:00 PM. This train makes scheduled stops at several stations, including Athi River, Emali, Kibwezi, Mtito Andei, Voi, Miasenyi, and Mariakani, offering glimpses of various Kenyan towns and landscapes along the way

As you journey towards the coast, the train traverses diverse Kenyan landscapes, including expansive savannahs and rolling hills. A highlight of the trip is passing through Tsavo National Park, one of Kenya's largest wildlife reserves. Keep your eyes peeled for glimpses of elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife from the comfort of your seat, a unique safari experience on rails.​

Upon arrival at the Mombasa Terminus, you'll be greeted and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch, where you can savor coastal culinary delights. Afterward, embark on a scenic drive to Diani Beach. This journey involves crossing the Likoni Ferry, which connects Mombasa Island to the southern mainland. As you cross the Likoni Channel, enjoy views of the bustling harbor and the Indian Ocean. After disembarking, continue your drive along the coastal road towards Diani Beach, a journey of approximately 30 kilometers that typically takes around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. The route offers glimpses of local villages, lush vegetation, and the vibrant culture of Kenya's coastal region.​

Upon reaching Diani, check in at Swahili Beach Resort or another Resort of Similar Standard and unwind in the serene beachfront setting. Dinner and overnight accommodation at the Resort.

DAY 4: WASINI ISLAND DOLPHIN TOUR

Following breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Wasini Island and Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park. Activities include dolphin spotting, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and exploring vibrant marine life. Enjoy a Swahili seafood lunch prepared by local women on Wasini Island. In the afternoon, visit a local village to learn about community traditions before returning to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.​

DAY 5: LEISURE IN DIANI BEACH

This day is dedicated to relaxation and enjoyment of the resort's amenities. Options include lounging on the beach, swimming, or participating in resort activities. All meals are provided under Full Board plan, with an overnight stay at Swahili Beach Resort.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE

After an early breakfast, it's time to check out and bid farewell to the tranquil surroundings of Swahili Beach Resort. Your journey continues with a comfortable transfer to Mombasa.

Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will be dropped off at your preferred location, be it Moi International Airport (MBA) for your flight or another destination within the city.
