DAY 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

Meals: Lunch, Dinner | Accommodation: Pearl Mara

Your exciting Kenya safari starts with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You’ll head to Wilson Airport for a short, scenic 45-minute flight to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. As you fly over the vast savannah, you might spot elephants or giraffes from the air.

On arrival, you will be met by our driver guide at the airstrip and take you on your first short game drive as you head to camp. Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, and antelopes grazing on the open plains.

Once at camp, you will be welcomed by the hosts and shown to your tent. After freshening up, enjoy lunch and relax while soaking in the beauty of the wilderness. In the afternoon, set off for your first game drive in the Mara Conservancy. Look out for lions resting under acacia trees, zebras moving in herds, or even cheetahs on the hunt. Return to camp at sunset for a hot shower, followed by a delicious dinner.

DAY 2: Full Day Safari in the Mara

Start the day early with tea or coffee served in your tent, then head out on a sunrise game drive. This is the best time to spot predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas as they are most active in the cool morning hours. The Masai Mara is also home to countless plains game such as wildebeest, gazelles, buffalo, and zebra.

Return to the camp for breakfast and later enjoy a relaxed lunch. In the afternoon, go out again for another exciting game drive. You might see elephants cooling off near a waterhole, warthogs dashing through the grass, or jackals on the move. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner and storytelling around the fire.

DAY 3: Explore More of the Masai Mara

Meals: Full Board | Accommodation: Pearl Mara

Today you can choose a full day game drive with a packed picnic Lunch or two extended drives with time to relax at camp. If you are visiting during the Great Migration (July to October), you may witness wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River while crocodiles lie in wait, a truly unforgettable sight.

On other days, you may find cheetahs stalking gazelles, hippos wallowing in the river, or a pride of lions with playful cubs. Your guide will take you to the best spots for wildlife viewing. Picnic lunch will be served under the shade of a tree before continuing your adventure. Return to camp in the evening for a warm shower, dinner, and a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of the bush.

DAY 4: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Meals: Breakfast |Optional: Day Room use in Nairobi

This morning, you may choose to go on a short-guided bush walk near camp. Your guide will share fascinating details about animal tracks, birdlife, and plants that are often overlooked on game drives. After breakfast, bid farewell to your hosts as you drive to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. Once in Nairobi, you will be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onwards travel plans, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your Maasai Mara safari experience.
