Day 1: Fly from Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your luxury Maasai Mara safari starts with a warm welcome. We’ll pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara. Please remember that soft-sided luggage is required, with a maximum allowance of 15 kilograms per person. Check-in begins one hour before departure.

Enjoy a scenic one-hour flight over Kenya’s beautiful landscapes, with aerial views of the Great Rift Valley and wildlife-studded plains. Upon landing in the Mara, your professional guide will be waiting to transfer you to Mara Serena Safari Lodge, perched high on a hill with sweeping views of the reserve.

If you arrive on a morning flight, you’ll be treated to a freshly prepared lunch before spending the afternoon relaxing or enjoying the lodge’s amenities. Around 3:30 PM, head out for your first game drive across the iconic savannah. Keep your eyes peeled for Elephants, Zebras, Lions, and possibly the elusive Leopards or even Rhinos. This is a perfect introduction to the wonders of the Maasai Mara.

Return to the lodge just in time for sunset. Enjoy a gourmet dinner while overlooking the wild landscape, and settle in for a peaceful night in luxury.

Day 2: Morning in the Mara and Return to Nairobi

After an early breakfast, enjoy your final moments in the Mara’s peaceful wilderness. Your guide will transfer you back to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi, where you’ll arrive mid-morning.
