Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park 

Meals: Lunch, Dinner | Stay: Amboseli (1st night)

After a hearty breakfast in Nairobi, begin your scenic road journey to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations (approx. 4.5 hours). The drive takes you through captivating 

landscapes, rural villages, and expansive savannahs, building anticipation with every mile as the towering peak of Mount Kilimanjaro begins to emerge on the horizon.

Arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch and take a moment to relax, soaking in the views of wide-open plains, acacia woodlands, and distant mountains. In the afternoon, set out for your first game drive, exploring the park’s varied habitats - from swamplands to dry lake beds. Amboseli is especially famous for its large elephant herds, often seen against the dramatic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain.

Beyond elephants, the park offers sightings of lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and more than 400 bird species including pelicans and crowned cranes. As the sun sets over the plains, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and a relaxing evening under the star-strewn African sky.

DAY 2: Exploring Amboseli– Full-Day Safari with Panoramic Kilimanjaro Views

Wake up to the Fresh air of Amboseli and enjoy a hearty breakfast as the day begins. Today, you’ll explore the park in depth on a full-day game viewing adventure designed to maximize your wildlife sightings and photo opportunities.

Head out with a packed picnic lunch to enjoy in the heart of the park, surrounded by stunning scenery and free-roaming wildlife.

Amboseli’s open landscapes are ideal for spotting big game. Keep your eyes peeled for large elephant herds, lions resting beneath acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the savannah, and countless other species. Bird enthusiasts will delight in the diversity of avifauna, from graceful crowned cranes to flocks of vibrant bee-eaters.

One of the highlights of the day is a visit to Observation Hill, a volcanic outcrop that offers panoramic views over the park’s swamps, savannahs, and even Kilimanjaro on clear days. It’s the perfect vantage point to appreciate Amboseli’s diverse landscapes and wildlife interactions.

In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Learn about the customs, dances, and lifestyle of one of Kenya’s most iconic tribes, and support local artisans by browsing handmade beadwork and souvenirs.

As the sun begins to dip, enjoy the magical golden light illuminating the plains, with Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak offering a breathtaking backdrop. Return to camp in the evening to relax, share stories, and enjoy a warm dinner under the stars.

DAY 3: Amboseli to Nairobi – Farewell to the wild

After a relaxed breakfast, it’s time to soak in your last moments in the Kenyan wilderness. Take in the serene views of the savannah and perhaps spot a few final animals lingering near the camp before checking out.

Your guide will then drive you back to Nairobi, a scenic journey that offers one more chance to appreciate the countryside and rural life along the way. You'll arrive in Nairobi in the early afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off at your preferred location - whether it’s your hotel, the airport, or a city restaurant.

Lunch is at your own cost, allowing you to choose from Nairobi’s wide array of excellent dining options to suit your preferences.
